When I first came to Frostwood Chiropractic of Katy I had slept wrong and twisted my back. I was in a great deal of pain when I would walk, sit, stand, or bend. I suffered for about a week prior to seeking out a chiropractor, but I have had back problems since my teenage years. I have had a few treatments by previous chiropractors.

When I first came to Frostwood Chiropractic of Katy I had major lower back pain. I couldn’t move very well. It hurt just being. It turned out to be a degenerative disc. I had back pain on and off for the last 10 years, but never hurt as bad as in June. I was taking prescription strength Ibuprofen to try to manage the pain.

When I first came to Frostwood Chiropractic of Katy I was experiencing chronic neck and back pain. The pain shot down the entire right side of my body. I had been dealing with this problem since an auto accident in 2006. I was taking prescription pain medication and had prior chiropractic care in order to attempt to manage my pain.

You might say that I was dragged kicking and screaming to the Frostwood Chiropractic of Katy clinic. My daughter was being treated and referred a friend and they both had great success in their treatment. It was then that I became a target! Yes they decided that I needed to seek treatment for my back which I have been suffering from since a vacation incident in 1992 that left me with 2 herniated discs in my lower back. I have always condemned the chronic use of pain medication except for extreme cases. The reason being that pain is your body’s way of telling you something is wrong. The idea and common practice of many individuals who take pain medication in order to be able to participate in physical activity boggles my mind. The fact that commercials advertise it for this use aggravates me even more. Why? The results of a recent study for a new pain relieving drug explain it perfectly.
